Lil Wayne Set To Take ‘I Am Still Music’ Tour To Canada

As he nears the end of his “I Am Still Music” tour, Lil Wayne is ready to take his show out of the country, despite recent reports claiming it may not be possible.

Following reports that he had been denied a visa to tour in Europe, similar accounts have claimed the same may be true as he geared up to trek through Canada.

Fortunately, they are untrue.

A spokesperson for the tour tells XXL that Canada is on deck, and Weezy looks forward to heading up north.

The rapper and company are reportedly set to head into Canada for the international leg of the tour at the end of April. Beginning April 27, Weezy is set to hit Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, then Edmonton at Rexall Place one day later, before heading to Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome April 29.

As far as the visa issue, those reports are false, said his reps.

“No visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced, or tickets sold,” a rep told TheBoomBox.com. “Lil Wayne is currently headlining his I Am Still Music Tour across the US and Canada with plans to extend the tour through North America this summer. We hope to bring the I Am Still Music Tour to the UK in the later half of the year.”

Although Wayne is the main draw for the tour, his Young Money protege, Nicki Minaj, has been making headlines for her stage show, in which she gives one lucky fan a lap dance each night, twice of which turned out to be Wayne himself.

In addition to Nicki, Rick Ross, and Travis Barker (with Mixmaster Mike) have served as supporting acts. The line-up is expected to stay the same.
